I just did quick google search that brought me to this thread and was just making a general commenting that i was having issues. i can make a new thread if that would be better. Boot host from iso. When esxi installer shows „Loading VMware ESXi“ screen, hit Shift+O to edit boot options and append this: gdbPort=none logPort=none tty2Port=com1 continue the install. It will put some stuff on the host monitor and some should start spewing on the putty window. The problem is that when I reboot the server it will not boot from the SanDisk drive. If it hit F11 to choose the Boot Menu it's not even an option. This is confusing me, since I *know* the server can boot from a thumb drive, because it did when I installed ESXi to the SanDisk. It's like the installation isn't creating a bootable drive.
